Discipline in BRILLIANT PUBLIC CAMPUS SCHOOL is based on the belief that responsibility comes before freedom and service comes before self. Knowledge is the light which illuminates the path to ultimate truth. Pupils are guided to conduct themselves in socially acceptable manner. Constant supervision enables the pupils to make becoming behaviour, at all times, a strong habit. Great care is taken by the school to inculcate and fortify moral, social and cultural values among the students.

 

  1. All students must be regular and punctual to school and school activities. No one is allowed to leave the premises without the prior permission of the Principal.
  2. Every pupil is required to put in an attendance of not less than 75% of the total number of working days in the school year. No pupil will be allowed to sit for the promotional exam unless he/she puts the minimum attendance required.
  3. All the students should make it a point to show their courteous and polite behaviour at all times. The school is judged by its decorum and decency.
  4. School assignments/projects assigned by the teachers should be done punctually.
  5. The medium of instruction in this school is English. All are encouraged and urged to speak in English in the school premises.
  6. In case of leave except on grounds of illness, the guardian of the student should get the leave granted by the Principal before hand. Every absence must be entered briefly in the Leave Record pages and duly signed by the Principal.
  7. No collection for any celebration should be made without the prior permission of the Principal.
  8. Wearing ornaments and bringing electronic gadget such as Mobile Phones, CDs, DVDs, Camera, iPod, Pen-drive or any other objectionable material is strictly prohibited.
  9. The school authorities will not hold themselves responsible for the student's loss of money, books, articles, clothing etc. The students are expected to look after their own belongings.
  10. Students are expected to take care of the school property and cleanliness of the surroundings. Disciplinary action will be taken against students who are found guilty of damaging school property or are involved in thefts/stealing or other unethical practices.
  11. Students shall not be allowed to enter the campus without the school uniform during school hours or even when one is on leave including PTM.
  12. Use of abusive language and/or misbehaviour with classmates/seniors/juniors in school and also outside the school will call for strict disciplinary action.
  13. A student should not indulge in any kind of unfair means during the examination. Anyone found guilty will be severely punished.
  14. Personal cleanliness is expected from all pupils, uniform must be clean and neatly ironed, shoes polished, fingernails pared, hair trimmed and neatly combed.
  15. Care must be taken to observe the 'Green Rules' in order to maintain clean green surrounding. Be careful during recess not to litter the compound with lunch scraps, fruit peels, disposable tumblers, papers or polythene bags. The School aims to make the campus free of polythene.
  16. Nobody is allowed to remain in the classroom during recess/library/practical periods and P.T. periods. Once on the playground, nobody shall return to the classroom without special permission of the concerned teacher and should be accompanied by the monitor.
  17. During the absence of the teacher, the class monitor assumes full responsibility for the discipline of the class. He/she must send the Assistant Monitor to find out from the office if a substitute has been appointed.
  18. While leaving general assembly after the prayers, the classes should observe silence.
  19. While going to the Library, P.T., Games and Practical Classes all students must move along the corridors and the stairs in a single line in perfect SILENCE.
  20. Absence on school functions or National days and absence in the school before and after examination will attract serious disciplinary action.
  21. Student should refrain from using scooter, moped, motorbikes for commuting to school.
  22. Students identified for remedial classes should stay back and compulsorily attend classes.
  23. Bunking classes or missing any period without the permission of the teachers will be subject to serious punishment.
  24. If each pupil has his/her name tag marked on the article, it helps a lot to find the owner of the lost article.
  25. Students are advised to form a habit of reading the School Notice Board and Circular of CBSE daily to update their awareness about reforms and School events.
  26. Student must return their Library books on time.
  27. School diary should be brought to school everyday.

 

ABSENCE RULES &  ACTIONS

 

  1. Students are responsible for making up all work missed during the period of their absence.
  2. No student will be allowed to leave the school campus during the school hours. However, in case of any emergency, the parent(s)/guardian should come to the school with an application explaining the reason to take the ward(s).
  3. No student who was absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without the permission of the class teacher.
  4. No leave of absence is granted except on medical grounds.
  5. Reported absence without granted leave or unexplained absence for fifteen consecutive working days will result in the student's name being struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted at the discretion of the Principal, only on payment of Re-admission fee.
  6. All students are expected to attend school on the opening day after each of the vacations.
  7. Uninformed absence for 3 consecutive working days immediately after a vacation, session or a term renders a student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.

 

WITHDRAWAL RULES

 

  1. Those who leave the school in July must pay the fees for April, May and June.
  2. Transfer or withdrawal certificate will not be issued until all dues of the school are settled.
  3. Student can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds :

            (a) Disciplinary (Student and Parents)

            (b) Consecutive detention for two years in any class

            (c) The pupil fails thrice in school.

  1. No correspondence concerning transfer certificate, leaves of absence etc. is entertained by post. All such applications must be submitted in person.

 

FEE RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

Fee are payable for all 12 months of the year. Fee must be paid between 1st  and 15th of the month. Thereafter a fine of Rs. 5.00 up to the last working day of the month will be charged along with the fees. However, if the fee remains unpaid till the last working day of the month in which fee is to be deposited, the name of the student will be struck off the rolls from the 1st working day of next month. The re-admission of such a student is purely the discretion of the head of the Institute, Who may/maynot allow the child's re-admission only on payment of Rs. 500.00 as re-admission charges along with all other dues and fee etc. One month's notice in writing will have to be given for withdrawal of the students or in lieu of that, one month's fee will be charged.
